Leadership
“I know we can build a better Idaho, and we can’t leave anyone behind.”
I’ve lived and worked on the Palouse for 24 years and have witnessed the impact of an out-of-touch legislature making decisions that don’t represent our community’s values. I will set aside partisanship and work together to solve problems to move Idaho forward.
My concern for Idahoans inspired me to serve our community as a compassionate and accountable member of the Moscow City Council. With each vote, I have balanced all opinions and actively sought input from those most impacted by the decision. I will continue my record of sensible, informed decision-making.
As a city council member and a nurse, I collaborate with diverse people of varying beliefs, political affiliations and backgrounds. I can represent all Idahoans in my district through creating practical bipartisan solutions to real, everyday problems.
Our region has people from many different walks of life who each face unique challenges. I believe the diversity of the people living in D6 [the Palouse and the Valley] makes us stronger. I will listen, learn, and advocate for every Idahoan’s needs. As a leader, my job is to listen to you—not a party or interest group.
My experiences as a nurse and active community members have taught me how to be a persistent advocate for those in need. I will stand up for families struggling to find childcare, students seeking a brighter future, people seeking stable housing, teachers who want to improve our schools, and farmers, ranchers and natural resource professionals who want to manage our resources sustainably.
I know we can build a better Idaho, and we can’t leave anyone behind.
